The first team of volunteers has begun construction of a new house for Pastor Harvey Fiskeaux and his family in Nome. Months of planning and preparation have culminated in the start of an exciting project! The Fiskeaux have needed a new home for years. They are raised their ten children in the community of Nome for the last thirteen years with less-than-ideal living conditions. Mold, radon gas, and lack of sufficient space have made life more challenging for them. Yet they continue to serve there passionately. Harvey has become a well-respected pastor and leader in the community. His testimony and on-going example sharing the love of Jesus Christ can hardly go unnoticed. Arctic Barnabas Ministries is thrilled to help the Fiskeaux Family build a new home for the years of ministry ahead.
We have numerous teams lined up to serve during the months of June and July. Our desire is to get the house dried in this summer and continue work inside this fall and winter. If you are interested in being part of this project through financial assistance, donating tools, and even going with us to join a construction team, please contact us today!
