Eric is the Director of the MinuteMen Department. God prepared him for this ministry with 18 years of sheet metal and general contracting experience in California. He and Ginger met in high school and married in 1982. About 11 years later, they both felt the Lord moving them toward full time missions. After several years of planning, they joined a camp ministry in Alaska, which gave them opportunities to visit villages and see the needs of pastors and missionaries. God gave Eric a vision and desire to come alongside these pastors, meet their practical needs, and encourage them.
Arctic Barnabas now gives Eric a ministry to identify practical needs and work with teams of volunteers and work teams that equip and encourage our village ministry families. This practical, caring provision empowers pastors and missionaries for the work to which God calls them. It also improves the longevity needed to build relationships in their villages.
Ginger coordinates EncourageHer ministry, which provides friendship, connection and encouragement to wives of bush pastors and missionaries. These women must feel connected and cared for in order to survive the isolation of remote village life and avoid burnout. ABM staff women and volunteers fly into villages to spend time with ministry wives, often hosting tea parties or retreat opportunities for ministry wives. This connection with like-minded believers encourages these dear women.
Grandparents of Cali, Connor, and Camri, Eric and Ginger have one married daughter, Nicole, and son Garrett who currently attends Berklee College of Music in Boston.
