Dustin & Natalie Hibbard

The Hibbard FamilyDustin grew up in Elgin, Illinois. Natalie grew up on the Central Coast of California in Arroyo Grande. They met while students at the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. Recognizing they walked parallel paths for a career in missions, they saw God’s hand lead them together for a lifetime of ministry. They married in May of 2000 and immediately moved to Elizabethton, TN where Dustin began training at Moody Aviation. Upon Dustin’s graduation with a BS degree in Missionary Aviation Technology in 2003, they returned to Chicago where Natalie completed a final year at Moody. She graduated in 2004 with a BA degree in International Ministries. Desiring to serve the Lord cross-culturally and use their skills and passions for His purposes, Dustin and Natalie identified Arctic Barnabas Ministries as a perfect fit. The Hibbards finished raising their support and arrived in Kenai in May, 2007!

Dustin is serving as Director of Mobilization. His role includes oversight of ABM's marketing and fundraising initiatives as well as improving communication with financial and prayer partners of the ministry. In addition, Dustin serves as a Pastor to Missionaries maintaining close relationships of encouragement, regular follow-up, and face-to-face visits whenever possible. Natalie is a full-time mom for their son Skylar (born Nov. 2006), daughter Kaia (born June 2008), and another baby boy due to be born July 2010. In addition she provides hospitality, serves on numerous ABM womens retreats, and works part-time in the office as Receptionist and Admin Assistant. They love travel to the villages to serve and encourage as well as engage in strategic efforts to advance Gospel outreach to Native people groups. Recently, Dustin began visiting Native inmates in the Kenai prison to disciple them and encourage them in their faith. He is praying that God will raise up some of these men to return to their villages as spiritual leaders.
