
Craig and Karen Hamlow came to Arctic Barnabas Ministries in 2004. Craig and Karen were married in November of 1997 and have three children. Derek (October 2002), Katie (August 2005), and Luke (April 2007).
Craig served as youth pastor in the Seattle area for 7 years before moving with Karen to Tennessee in 1999 to pursue missionary aviation at Moody Aviation. While in Tennessee Craig and Karen were both involved in youth ministry.
Craig came on staff at Arctic Barnabas to serve as the Youth Pastor to Missionary Families. After four years as the Youth Pastor at ABM both Karen and Craig have shifted their roles to other parts of the ministry.
Craig serves as a pastor to pastors in the remote villages of Alaska. He travels often to the villages to see them in person as well as frequent communication with them over the phone or internet. Karen’s primary role is raising their children, but also serves as an administrative assistant to the Director of EncourageHer, the women’s ministry of ABM. This gives Karen the opportunity to go to villages several times per year to help lead pastor wives’ retreats.
Craig and Karen enjoy their roles in ABM look forward to many years of serving pastors.
